HSSC has a GREAT 2025 in place!  Check it out!
We’re a GREAT club, and we DO a LOT of FUN STUFF!  JOIN US!

•  Conformation!  HSSC held our designated specialty and supported entry show events in conjunction with the Celtic Classic shows at the York Expo Center, York PA, in March 2025.  Everything went great and very sucessfully!
• Here are the winners of our “Stuff The Wagon” raffle fundraiser at the Celtic Classic Shows in York, PA:

•  All-Breed Obedience/Rally Trials! Once again, HSSC held a two-day all-breed rally and obedience trials weekend at Papillonia Dog Training Academy, Red Lion PA.  Dates were April 26th and 27th 2025.  It was a great success and very well-received!  Thanks to all HSSC members for volunteering their time!
•  Agility!  We will once again hold our three-day trials on December 12th - 14th 2025 at Bella Vista Training Center.  More information and the premium, when available, will be available on our Events page.
•  Scent Work!  HSSC held our annual AKC scent work trial on September 27th and 28th 2025, at Bella Vista Training Center.  A GREAT scent work weekend!
•  Herding Fun Days All-Breed Workshop!  Our very popular introductory experience to the world of herding was a very great success and all attendees enjoyed themselves, and learned a lot too!
  As before, it was held at Scarlet’s Mill Herding, and our workshop leader was once again be the renowned herding instructor, Amanda Nickle!  Our 2026 Herding Fun Days Event information will be available on our website in early 2026!  Hope to see you there!
• Fast CAT!  WOW!  HSSC held our first Fast CAT trial event with Ching!  Lots of “fast” doggie fun!
•  Member events!  Our 2025 member summer picnic was a HUGE SUCCESS at John Rudy County Park in York County!  We might? Be there next year!
•  HSSC Rescue, in conjunction with our companion rescue organization, Heart’s Promise Sheltie Rescue, works very hard to find new homes for rescued Shelties!  Find out LOTS MORE about our support for rescue Shelties on our HSSC RESCUE page!  Remember that portions of ALL of our trial and workshop proceeds go to annual support of HPSR!
