WOW! Our Sheltie club has LOTS of activities scheduled for 2021,
for both Shelties and ALL breeds!
- We are holding our annual spring 2021 all-
breed Obedience+Rally trials in May! Premium is NOW AVAILABLE in EVENTS! - Herding! Once again HSSC will sponsor its annual Herding Fun Days in June! It is ideal for all dogs and their owners who are new to herding or would like to find out if their dogs have herding instinct.
The information flier and registration forms are available on our EVENTS page! - Agility! Our club holds two all-
breed agility trial weekends each year in August and December. EVENTS!
Our December trials support HSSC Sheltie Rescue! More information may be found in - Conformation! HSSC holds designated-
specialties in conjunction with all- breed shows in August.

- New members! We are fortunate to have added several new members to our club roster during the past year! We welcome our new members, and encourage folks who enjoy Shelties and would be willing to join and HELP our club to contact any HSSC member!
- Our club, like many others, has adjusted to COVID-
19 restrictions and changes. We thank our members for their flexibility and patience while we continue to enjoy our club and plan for its activities! - We had a GREAT three-
day agility trial in December at Bella Vista Training Center! All of our net proceeds from this agility trial weekend go 100% to our HSSC Sheltie Rescue Fund! Thanks to our trial chairs, Dolly Golen (chair) and Don Wilkinson (co- chair), Bonnie Opal (chief course builder), and all of our members present for helping, and to all of the exhibitors whose entry fees helped our HSSC Sheltie Rescue fund! - Our club, working with Bella Vista Training Center, had a GREAT agility trial in August! Our club thanks Charlotte Idleman and all of the club members on the trial committee and helpers at the event! BRAVO!
- Our annual Herding Fun Days with Amanda Nickle at Scarlet’s Mill Herding was a great success! We filled both days, and everyone had a wonderful experience! Lots of compliments!
- HSSC member Bonnie Opal conducted a great agility seminar weekend at Dandy Dog Training in November! Great job, Bonnie and also Judy F. for coordinating this event!
- HSSC Rescue, in conjunction with our companion organization, Heart’s Promise Sheltie Rescue, works very hard to find new homes for rescued Shelties! Find out LOTS MORE about our rescue Shelties on our HSSC RESCUE page!
